Not only do we want biographies on famous people on The Peoplepedia, but we want members of the public like you and me too. You can add yourself easily by clicking here. We grow everyday with more people been added and it has its benefits if you add yourself, especially if you have a business or website.
This is the place to find information on anyone you want and if you can't find a person, we will write an article on them in just 24 hours (if they are famous). All you have to do is visit the Request A Person page. Our daily growth means we will expand quickly over the coming months.
Our main target is to deliver accurate information about people which can be easily found. We do that by writing multiple articles daily, giving you the chance to write about yourself or a famous person or request a person. Every day, we work on enhancing your experience here on The Peoplepedia. When we publish new articles, they may not be able to be found in our search box straight away. In the URL of an article on The Peoplepedia (for example: http://www.thepeoplepedia.com/2011/03/michelle-obama.html) there is a date. That date is the first time the article was published. This doesn't mean the last time it was edited. We regularly review our articles to add information, add recent events that have happened in peoples lives and so on.
The Peoplepedia was released 13 March 2011 and is the successor of Peoplepedia which was located at peoplepedia.blogspot.com. It was founded by James Dowen.
